Hello. I’m Kraig Mathias.

I design websites for authors. I consider the work I do as art and every website I make as a unique piece of art, because every author is unique.

The first thing we do is have an in-depth, one-on-one call with you to learn about your brand, your personality and your style. We ask you to show us three examples of author websites you admire and share with us what you like about each of them.

We Choose a StudioPress Theme for Your Site

All of our author websites are built with WordPress and on the Genesis framework. On top of that, we choose and install a StudioPress child theme for you that fits your desired look and feel. We use Genesis and StudioPress exclusively because of their reputation, flexibility, ease of use and code quality.

We Create a Staging Site (While Your Current Site Stays Live)

While we are building your new author website, we leave your current site live. This makes the process go smoothly without disrupting the experience for your readers and customers. We do this by creating a staging site, where your new author website will live until it's ready to go live.

We Customize Your New Site (With Your Input Along the Way)

Starting with WordPress, the Genesis framework and a carefully chosen StudioPress child theme, we customize your new site from there to fit your desired look.. We are capable of major design edits and will make sure your new author website matches what your looking for. We also integrate your current website's content (including books and blog posts) into your new site for you.

We Integrate Your Email Provider & Social Media Profiles

Many authors are collecting email addresses on their website and building an email list using an email service provider. We set all of this up for you, including building custom email opt-in forms and pop-up overlays for you. We also integrate in your social media profiles for you.

We Put Your New Site Live & Show You How to Use It

Once your new author website is finished (and you're happy with it), we will then put it live. This process takes just an hour or two. Once it's live, we will then show you how to use it and even record a training video for you (if you want us to). We aren't done until you are 100% satisfied with your new author website.
